Cultivate - IN THE NEWS
Cultivate's origin story was highlighted in an article by Healthy Growing Churches. Click here to read the article.
Cultivate Coffee & Tea was born out of an idea to be more outwardly focused in our community. A group of Christ-followers decided to open a place in the Midland Mall that would serve the employees of the mall, mall-walkers, and casual shoppers with free coffee and tea while developing relationships with those people over time. The shop is open for groups to meet, individuals to hang out and relax, or for people to just stop by and grab a quick cup while they are out and about. You will find friendly and caring volunteers working to make your day a little bit better with a hot beverage and a smile - and eager to sit down and chat for a while, if you’d like. The shop is a non-profit organization, so all revenue is used to continue operations and serve others. The coffee beans and tea leaves used in the beverages are purchased directly from farmers around the world in places like Guatemala, Uganda, Malawi, Panama, and other places where we have relationships established with the people. Our goal is to Cultivate and support those communities and families while Cultivating relationships in our own community.
